Characteristics of wind-swept coal mill
1. The grinding body is short and thick, and the length-diameter ratio is generally less than 2.
2. The hollow shaft diameter of inlet and outlet material is large, the ventilation area of the compartment board between drying warehouse and grinding warehouse is large, and there is no grate board at the end of grinding, so the ventilation resistance is small.
3. Its heat waste gas consumption can reach 2.6-3.9kg /kg materials, can dry the moisture content of less than 8% of the raw materials, if another hot air furnace supply high temperature hot air, can dry the raw materials containing 12% of the moisture, such as pre-crushing dryer can dry 15% of the moisture. The working principle of the wind-swept coal mill is to lift the powder by air and separate the powder with a coarse powder separator, so the circulating load and powder separation efficiency are low, which affects the grinding efficiency. At the same time, when grinding the material with high moisture content, the wind speed inside the grinding is high, which increases the chance that the steel ball can't grind the material, and also affects the grinding efficiency. Therefore, the mill system has a lower output per unit theoretical power and a higher energy consumption of about 10%-12% than the lifting cycle mill system. When the mill system is used to dry the material with large moisture content, a pre-drying pipeline can also be added outside the mill. The material first enters the pre-drying pipeline for preliminary drying and then enters the mill to dry the powder and grind. At the same time, the feeding size should not be more than 15mm, in order to improve drying and grinding efficiency.
