Apron feeder is generally divided into heavy, medium and light type, is a cement plant and concentrator commonly used feeding equipment.

Light apron feeder is a continuous feeding machine, which is suitable for short distance conveying of bulk materials with particle size smaller than 160mm. In mines, concentrators, chemical industry, cement, building materials and other departments, light apron feeder is widely used from storage silo to crushing, transportation and other machinery for uniform continuous feeding. It can be mounted horizontally or diagonally with a maximum upward inclination of 20 degrees. Generally, it is suitable for materials with loose density less than 1200kg/m3, block weight less than 140kg and temperature below 350℃.

Medium apron feeder is an intermittent feeding machine, which is suitable for short distance conveying of bulk materials with particle size smaller than 400mm. In mines, concentrators, chemical industry, cement, building materials and other departments, light apron feeder is widely used from storage silo to crushing, transportation and other machinery for uniform continuous feeding. It can be mounted horizontally or diagonally with a maximum upward inclination of 20 degrees. Generally, it is suitable for materials with loose density less than 12400kg/m3, block weight less than 500kg and temperature below 400℃.

Heavy apron feeder is the auxiliary equipment of transportation machinery; this machine is used as a silo for continuous and even feeding to primary crusher in crushing and grading workshop of large concentrator and cement, building materials and other departments. It can also be used for short distance transportation of materials with large particle size and specific gravity. It can be mounted horizontally or diagonally with a maximum inclination of 12 degrees. In order to avoid the material directly hit to the feeder, it is required that the bin is not emptied.
